What hours, if any on Thanksgiving??
Are we had at our great supper breakfast and dinner prices were reasonable the food was great experience was excellent was fun being in a diner again deftly would go back
MoreGood greasy food. About what you'd expect from a Diner. Good enough that I'd come back, but not so great that I'd go out of my way to return.
MoreCame for lunch, had a burger and poutine. It was okay, I think this place is more for breakfast though is the vibe I got. Also had a chocolate shake that was good. Friendly staff and fair prices
MoreFood and service were excellent. I had the cornea beef hash and eggs. There was sooo much Corned beef!! Eggs were done perfectly. We will DEFINITELY be back!!
MoreSo this place is a gem, classic diner. The service, Juana in particular served us today, was positive and attentive. The food was delicious and they even split the omelette for us that we decided to share. Couldnβt be more happy with the decision to go there.
Moresuper cute and I pretended i was the fonzβ’ hanging out at happy daysβ’ayeeeee
Food was mediocre at best. The booth seemed dirty and not disinfected, staff was not wearing mask no social distancing inside. I was expecting a much better experience overall
MoreSuch a cute little diner! Food & service were both great!
First if all, David is an amazing person. He sat us and served us three times now. He is sharp as a tack, charismatic, and personable all while maintaining the social distancing rules. He is an example of how all humans should be right now. The owner talks with everyone. She is also very personable and creates an atmosphere that makes me happy. Her daughter is the chef. The food is amazing too. My husband an I share a cinnamon roll (fresh made and warmed perfectly every time). It is balanced perfectly- just the right amount of chewy, soft, sweetness. I don't what's in that dough, but it's addictive. I had the banana bread french toast. Homemade banana bread. It is perfect too. Loved it. Another day I chose the eggs Benedict. The ham is sourced locally. The hollendaise sauce made me want to lick the plate. Alll in all - we will keep going back!
MoreFantastic food, atmosphere, and service!
Food was good, the waitress was polite as well. The lady who rang up our bill though was not very friendly and seemed rushed. Hadn't even finished paying and she went back to working on whatever she was doing before.
MoreCute all-American diner. Amazing breakfast, friendly waitstaff and fast service- We will definitely return!
MoreWe came here for breakfast two days in a row because it was so nice and the food was great. You can tell they take pride in their business. Friendly, clean and charming diner. Thanks Joni!
MoreOld time diner setting with way better food. Friendly staff. Great salads and sandwiches. The building itself was originally in Pennsylvania. Moved to Lake Geneva, floor to ceiling. We'll be back!
MoreLove this place. It's as if you are transported back to the 50's. Great diner food and reasonable prices.
MoreA toss back to days of old. No frills but great breakfast fare. Not to be missed!
More**Lunch menu isn't available til after 11pm!**First time eating here with my girlfriend, and we were pleased with a good experience! The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff is kind and courteous. Not only is the food quality phenomenal, but the prices are also realistic. I would come here again, and again, and again. I plan on it. Would recommend to friends and family.
MorePortion good for price. Taste the homemade flavor. Staff outstanding.
The food here is amazing! Very fresh ingredients. The cinnamon rolls are absolutely amazing!
MoreGret Diner w thst 50's Diner feel + Decor
Fantastic food with a great nostalgic atmosphere. Super friendly staff and ownership
MoreThey have the best tasting food at the best prices. You definitely get what you pay for. Definitely going there againπ
MoreThis is a cool, 50's vibe diner with great food and really friendly staff. The diner building has some really interesting history also.
MoreNeeded a great breakfast not too pricey and good food. Found this dinner 50s style. No waiting , really friendly waitress service. Got talking to the owner who was working the cash register. It's a family owned business the wife's name is Joni as the husband explained, if it's a good day. Could not want a more down to earth mid west wellcome. Thanks.
MoreOur server was wonderful. We came in 1/2 hour before closing, but they didn't rush us. Food great. Home-baked pies, cakes, biscuits. Everyone very friendly.
MoreNo joke. Best breakfast food in town, maybe in the universe! No I don't know anybody that works there and I've ate there quite a few times over the many years. I recommend their Eggs Benedict plus the biscuits and gravy more than anything!!
MoreAwesome breakfast! Best corned beef hash Iβve had. Made from scratch hollandaise on Eggs Benedict is amazing. We prefer Irish Benedict with corned beef.
MoreStaff was friendly and service was fast. However, there seemed to be little or no precautions being taken. Social distancing did not seem to be a concern and no employees that we saw were wearing masks. The omelettes were not seasoned well and were not nearly as substantial as many breakfast places I've been to. The pancakes were very good so that saved this from being a 1 star review.
MoreGreat service, food, and price
Very good and great service in a very nice old fashion dinner. Only went for breakfast but would love to go back for ice cream dinner
MoreGreat ambiance, service and food! Have eaten there multiple times, even though it's about 45 mins from home!
MoreThe place had a fun setting. Good service and breakfast was spot on.
I had The chicken melt sandwich and also ordered the banana bread toast and sandwich was so tasty. The banana bread toast melts in your mouth. 6 stars!
MoreGreat old feel dinner. Food was great and not bad price. Highly recommend stop in anytime
MoreAwesome. Awesome. Awesome. My husband and I had lunch there for the first time last weekend, and what a treat from the food to the service! The desserts are all homemade, and the food is so yummy we are thinking about a return visit this weekend. I had a huge salad piled high with grilled chicken while my husband had their famous Reuben with fries. We ended our dining experience with homemade apple pie that was so loaded with apples it was about 6β tall. Well done, Joni!!!!
MoreHad a wonderful experience and excellent mushroom and Swiss burger with homemade fries. Waitress Emily was super sweet and answered our questions about the area.
MoreVery good food! π€ I suggest try the Black and Blue Burger, it tasted fabulous. Nice atmosphere with the old time area dinner look. Very clean inside and the service rendered was very friendly and pleasant. I definitely will return. ππ
MoreGreat little spot. The food was excellent, the prices were great and the service was exceptional.
MoreGreat Lake Geneva diner. Gets busy quick, especially on Sunday so go early. Food is great, service is top notch. Came with a big group and server was friendly, patient, and helpful. Also have baked goods that are bakery quality.
MoreA must if you like home cooked food and fast and friendly service at a great price! We were being led to our table as we walked in the door at 8:15am; however, when we left at 9am there was a line out the door. I had the Everything Omelet (The Big E) and it was the best I have ever had! The coffee was great and the waitress was on her game. An absolute must visit on all of our future trips to Lake Geneva!
MoreI love going here, especially for breakfast. Great old school vibe with kind and courteous staff that work together to always take care of you, even when there's a full house. They have the best pancakes and giant cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, steak and eggs, or potatoes pancakes (I can only vouch for what I've tried, but everything so far has been amazing). Always tasty, just make sure to check their hours that are posted before going to make sure their open cause the hours can be a little weird some times.
MoreVery small place but very nice staff and good food!
Service was good. Food was delicious. I had a cheese curd burger with fries. This restaurant is a lot better than the other places in Lake Geneva. I will definitely come back.
MoreI very much enjoy their dishes and service, awesome location right next to my home. The workers are always helpful. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat service and food was delicious. You get big portions for great price. The poutine was very good.
MoreGreat service. Friendly folks. Great atmosphere. Had the portabella sandwich. Killer sandwich. Done perfect. The apple pie was fantastic. Can see why this is top of the list in ratings and highly recommended by locals and visitors alike.
MoreClassic diner, outstanding staff great food, a little pricey
really good place, i've only managed to make the trip out twice though. They aren't usually open anything past morning or occasionally early afternoon. 1st time I went there it was super crowded and I couldn't handle the sheer amount of people inside, which i guess means it's pretty good. Second time i came there i had some waffles and they were really good. Atmosphere is great there, reminds me of a late 1940s or a early 1950s diner.
MoreGreat breakfast! Love the old classic feeling when you go in!
Ordered takeout to avoid the Sunday morning crowd. The restaurant has a charming diner feel to it which made it look very promising to me. Unfortunately, our breakfast order was not correct and the employees were not very polite. We also did not receive any napkins or utensils with our takeout order, which makes it difficult to eat eggs like an adult. Overall, the food was average, but I would definitely try other spots before going back.
